Welcome to Warframe, a free-to-play, fast-paced third-person shooter and action RPG set in an expansive sci-fi universe. As a Tenno, an ancient warrior awakened from cryosleep, you pilot powerful bio-mechanical suits called Warframes and wield an arsenal of unique weapons. Your mission: fight against various factions threatening the Origin System. Warframe offers a blend of intense combat, deep customization, and a rich, evolving lore. Getting Started: Your First Steps as a Tenno

Your journey begins with crucial choices and fundamental actions.

• Choose Your Starter Warframe: You’ll pick one of three starter Warframes: Excalibur (balanced, damage), Mag (crowd control, shields), or Volt (speed, electricity). Each has unique abilities, but you’ll acquire many more later.
• The Awakening Quest: Play through the tutorial quest, “Vor’s Prize.” This introduces you to movement, combat, and your ship, the Orbiter, which serves as your hub.
• Movement (Parkour 2.0): Master fluid movement. Learn to bullet jump (Crouch + Jump), slide (Crouch while running), and wall run. Combining these makes you incredibly agile and hard to hit.
• Combat Basics: You have three weapon slots: Primary (rifles, shotguns), Secondary (pistols), and Melee (swords, staves). Each Warframe also has four unique abilities (powers). Experiment to find your preferred playstyle.
• Missions & Planets: Progress by completing missions on planets. Each planet has a “Junction” that requires specific tasks to unlock the next planet.
• The Mod System: This is key! Mods enhance your Warframes and weapons. Learn to equip and rank them up to boost stats like damage, shield capacity, and ability strength.

Warframe offers an immense universe. Start by mastering movement and basic combat, and the Origin System will open up before you.
