Getting Started: Your First Steps in Teyvat

Your initial hours in Genshin Impact lay the groundwork for your grand adventure.

• Character Selection: You begin as either the Male (Aether) or Female (Lumine) Traveler. Your choice is primarily cosmetic.
• Archon Quests (Main Story): Follow the main storyline to unlock new regions, features, and deepen your understanding of Teyvat’s lore. Prioritize these!
• Exploration: Teyvat is vast. Explore, unlock Teleport Waypoints and Statues of The Seven (which heal and reveal map sections), and gather resources.
• Elemental Powers: As the Traveler, you’ll resonate with Statues of The Seven to gain new elemental powers (Anemo, Geo, Dendro, etc.).
