Getting Started: Your First Voyage into Space

Embark on your first mission with these essential steps.

• Download & Install: Among Us is available on mobile (iOS, Android, free-to-play with ads) and PC (Steam, paid). Download and install the game on your preferred platform.
• Choose Your Role: You’ll be randomly assigned one of two roles:
  • Crewmate: Your goal is to complete all tasks or identify and vote out the Impostors.
  • Impostor: Your goal is to kill enough crewmates or sabotage the ship effectively to win, without being caught.
• Join a Game: Select “Online” and then either “Host Game” (to create your own and invite friends), “Public” (to join a random game), or “Private” (to join a game with a specific code).
• Basic Controls: Familiarize yourself with the on-screen joystick for movement and interaction buttons (use, report, sabotage, kill) that appear contextually.
• Tasks (for Crewmates): As a crewmate, your main objective is to complete mini-game tasks around the map. These are simple puzzles or actions (e.g., swiping a card, wiring, diverting power). Completing all tasks is a win condition for crewmates.
• Emergency Meetings: If a dead body is reported or an emergency button is pressed, an Emergency Meeting is called. This is when players discuss who they suspect is the impostor and vote.
• Voting: During meetings, you can vote for a player you suspect or “Skip Vote” if unsure. The player with the most votes is ejected from the ship.
